Chiropractic care at the end of the week.
On Friday everyone comes in stressed out from the week they have had. They just lie on the table after their adjustment and seem to stay forever.
That's okay. People need a place to rest.
What better place than in the chiropractic office?

Chiropractors Salem Oregon 2
In our workshop last night we talked about chiropractors and what kind of care their patients receive. Chiropractors in Salem Oregon are like any other chiropractors across the nation. But what separates them is the individual care they offer. And what kind of care they offer is dependent on what kind of focus they have.
My interest and study is all about wellness. What makes up wellness and what can we do to improve one's health? Although we deal with people in pain, pain is just one indicator of ill-health.
We do many adjunct procedures. We use nutrition and homeopathy when appropriate. We help with stress techniques to help people deal with the stress in their lives. Stress causes ill-health. We use newer adjusting techniques to help the physical body return to balance. We use cold lasers and other instruments to assist the body in healing. We really try to do it all.
Does that answer your question?

We are arriving at the time of year when stress abounds. Time changes, food changes, schedules change. What are we doing to keep up with them?
Keep focused on the things that are healthy:
Careful of the sweets that will deplete your health reserves.
Get the rest you need.
Get the exercise you need.
Spend time in the worship that you need.
Do the quiet time you need.
Do the reading you need.
Do anything you think you need to do to stay healthy because you will be tested this season like you are every season.

Where did the sun go and what can we do in it's place? Get some.
The sun is important in health and healing. For one it helps our bodies produce vitamin D. There are many symptoms and diseases linked to low vitamin D.
Cells have built-in DNA clocks, known as telomeres. Measuring the length of these strands of DNA is one way of examining the aging process at a cellular level.
Women with higher levels of vitamin D are more likely to have longer telomeres, and vice versa. This means that people with higher levels of vitamin D may actually age more slowly than people with lower levels of vitamin D.
No wonder vitamin D has a protective effect on so many diseases, ranging from MS and TB to heart disease and cancer -- it keeps your body young!

Nutritional Health
Monsanto’s genetically engineered Roundup Ready sugar beets were deregulated by USDA in 2005. Back then, the sugar market rejected GE sugar, but times have apparently changed. GE sugar beets will be going into commercial production across the west in 2008. Farmers, gardeners, seed and food producers are being sought who are concerned about the entrance of GE sugar beets into the fields, sugar market, and super market, to voice their opinion on this very important matter.
Contact Kevin Golden, staff attorney for Center for Food Safety, to share your concern and potentially get involved in challenging GE sugar beets kgolden@icta.org.
This is NUTRITION STRESS and creates effects of stress of the likes we can only imagine now. Genetic engineered foods will continuing creating unintended consequences.

It is November and this is "the season." You know, the cold and flu season. They're all talking about it.
But instead of performing measures that violate natural law, like "get the flu shot" or "drink plenty of juice", think about what the body needs. There was a time change that you're going to have to get used to. If you eat garden food, like you should be, you're going to have to get used to the changes in seasonal foods. And are you getting an adequate amount of rest and sleep? How's your stress level?
What I'm getting at is there are many changes your body is going through. If you don't prepare yourself, you're going to fall into one that must find his or her way in the "mist of the season."
